The Asian traffic of containers is booming. It goes through the Mediterranean but it is mainly the North European ports that profit from it. To restabilize the situation, the ports of Valencia, Barcelona, Genoa and Marseilles-Fos have launched out in huge scale works on their infrastructures and inland connections.
