A study bearing on the strategic development of the coast at Casablanca is currently under way. Carried out notably in collaboration with AURIF (Institut d'Aménagement et d'Urbanisme de la Région Ile de France), this divides the coast into 4 sectors according to their dominant vocations. The sector covering the port zone and the logistics zone should be the object of better City - Port integration, notably by redefining the inland connections.

Les deux premières séquences sont toutefois prioritaires. Elles concernent un premier secteur à vocation balénaire et un "coeur de ville" destiné à conférer une dimension de métropole internationale et contemporaine à la ville. Enfin, sur le dernier secteur coincé entre 2 zones industrielles, une partie du front de mer devra être réouverte aux habitants.
