The representatives of the port and municipal authorities of Leghorn (Italy), Toulon (France) and Valencia (Spain) met together on the 19th & 20th January 2006, in the context of the European Programme SYMPIC–Life (See our news). Sympic-Life is centred on a joint reflection aiming at integrating environmental questions into the city – port relationship. At the outcome of this meeting, the partners intend to reinforce their cooperation, notably through the development of management tools and the definition of indicators.
