At their meeting of 13th February 2006, the Board of Administration (Comitato Portuale) of the Port Authority of Genoa approved a new organisation chart and endorsed a convention with the Region of Liguria.

After a debate between the institutions and social partners represented, the Board of Administration adopted the proposition of Chairman Giovanni Novi. The management of the port will henceforth be structured around four big managerial divisions : Planning and Development Division, Technical Division, Territorial management Division and the Administrative and Financial Division.
Apart from this, the ratification of the convention between the Port Authority of Genoa and the Region of Liguria will enable the operational planning of the Waterfront of Genoa to be carried out.
