A recent meeting between the regional authorities of Greater Casablanca and the Moroccan Ministry of Public Works was the occasion to present the main orientations as to the development of the port for a horizon of 2015. Through these can also be seen the various aspects of a better urban integration of the port : new accesses, transfer of the shipyards and their reallocation for urban ends, reduction of pollution and time-sharing, transfers of certain activities towards other ports.
