According to the latest INSEE study, between 2000 and 2004, the maritime and port activities have been the source of one job in three for the Le Havre zone and one out of four for the whole Upper Normandy Region. Warehousing is the leading sector in this. In all, a little more than 16 000 people work in these sectors in the Le Havre zone.
