A team of six renowned landscape architects was formed for the space of a day, in order to formulate proposals for the development of the waterfront of '"Midtown East". The particularity of the space concerned resides in its present inaccessibility to the public. The team thus proposed reallocations on the site, notably with the installation of a ferry terminal and also tourist and leisure installations. The zone under study during this day could also be concerned by a project of the State and of the City to extend the campus of the United Nations.
