The port city of Trois Rivières has presented a development plan – Trois Rivières on the Saint Laurent – the latest version of which is extremely ambitious. The new project includes a hotel, a techno-park, and a market to which are added to the spaces already planned such as the amphitheatre, the central esplanade, the riverside promenade, the interpretation centre and residential areas. The execution of this contract that will necessitate the transformation of a former industrial warehouse is currently the subject for negotiations between city and port.
