In the framework of the international conference “Safer Seas”, a thematic seminar “Risks management in harbour zones”, will take place on October, 9th at 'Le Quartz' Conference Centre
in Brest.

This seminar is organised by Brest Metropole Oceane, the science park of Brest, the SDIS29 (center of emergency and fire fighting) and the partners of the European project IMAPS*, in cooperation with ETSI, the CETMEF (national centre of maritime and fluvial technical studies), INRETS and ENST Bretagne.

*IMAPS for “Integrated management of risks in port cities”, is a European INTERREG project that analysed during two years, the regulations, policies, technologies developed in Europe through five case analysis : Brest (Fr), Matosinhos (Pt), Taranto (It), Constanza (Ro), Portsmouth and the Island of Wight (UK).
