Works on the construction of a marina in Casablanca and the neighbouring developments (hotel, Congress Hall, leisure zone, etc…) will start in 2008. This installation will thus provide the city with its own means to reinforce its economic attraction. The marina is part of the development plan for the port zone of Casablanca presented in November 2006 (see our article). This will include a specific chapter on "opening the port to the city" of which the development of the marina is only the first point.
