The Port of San Francisco has announced the launch of work for the new development of Piers 30-32.

The project , called Bryant Street Pier , comprises three phases : the development of a luxury residence between now and 2005; the construction of Brannan Street Wharf Park - 2005-2006; and the construction of a cruise passenger terminal and connected installations that will start in 2006.
