Active member of our network and the Board of directors of the AIVP, Alessandro Cosimi, mayor of Leghorn, was named coordinator of the Italian harbour cities within the national Association of the Italian communes (Ancitel; http://www.ancitel.it/). His mission will consist in reflecting on the various strategies as regards city-port relation in particular under the angle of the mechanisms of the Europeanization of the Italian harbour cities.
