After the major achievements started in 1985 under the aegis of the architect Adrian Smith, new projects come into being on the wharves of Boston. Former industrial sites will thus be reallocated to a residential use: Battery Wharf in the north; the Clippership Wharf in the east; and the Pier 4, which is next to the World Trade Center in the port area.
