On Thursday 14th April 2005 in Brussels, the ports of Brussels, Liège, Lille and Paris signed the "Dipcity" convention.

"Dipcity" (Development of Inland Ports as Sustainable Tools for the City) is a project in the European Programme Interreg IIIB. The objective of this project is to undertake innovating investments so that inland ports become veritable tools for the sustainable development of their hinterland and their territory.
