Under the presidency of Giuliano Gallanti, the first Board of Trustees of the year was organized in Paris on March 8. The main part of the work of the Board was about the organization of the work schedule of the association for 2005 and 2006.

As well as the General Meeting organized in Bilbao on June 2, 2005, a program of 4 “IACP Meetings” is on the agenda for the works of the IACP in 2005, in partnership with the member port cities of the network. The preparation works of the 10th International Conference in Sydney, in November 2006, will speed up this year, as well as the creation of the book devoted to the modernity of port cities. Furthermore, the on-line resource centre on the projects of port cities should experience new developments in 2006
