Sister Ports is a global network of ports twinned with Le Havre harbour, which encourages port authority leaders to share their best practices in terms of management and development. HAROPA hosted the 17th Sister Ports Conference which brought together nearly 100 people and more than 15 world port authorities from 4 to 6 September 2017 in Paris, Rouen and Le Havre.

A whole afternoon was devoted to city-port relations. The director of the AIVP, Olivier Lemaire naturally participated, alongside Régine Bréhier of the Port of Paris, François Philizot, from the interdepartmental delegation to the development of the Seine Valley, Mickael MARTIN of the Port Authority of San Francisco , Anick METIVIER of the Quebec Port Authority, and Patrice MELOM for the Port of Kribi.

The synthesis of the work, to which AIVP contributed, is now available.
