Montreal: a 25 year development plan for the Old Port

The aim is to enhance the site’s tourism and leisure credentials, some 25 years on from its inauguration. New promenade layouts, new public spaces and more, will help bring the city, Old Port and river closer together. The plan covers both the Pointe du Moulin area and the area around the famous Silo N°5, with the former set for a new mixed-use district, while the silo will be turned into an interpretation and observation site. A public consultation has been opened and will conclude on 12 July.
