A Siemens plant manufacturing wind turbine blades opens in Tangier’s industrial port zone, the first part of a new wind energy cluster

Beyond the Moroccan market, the aim is to position Morocco as an export hub for markets in the Middle East, the Mediterranean and Europe. The €100 million will generate some 600 jobs immediately, and forms part of the country’s strategy aimed at developing a green economy.
