Point-à-Pitre: Karukera Bay project launched

The project aims to make the waterfront more appealing to cruise passengers and local residents. A new terminal, a hotel and retail areas are planned, while the Port’s headquarters will also be relocated. The preliminary project agreement was signed on 6 April by the various partners concerned, including the Guadeloupe Region, the Grand Port Maritime de Guadeloupe, the CCI, the City and Cap Excellence (the conurbation) of Pointe-à-Pitre.
