Riga set to use the results of the Green Cruise Port project to develop cruise business

The project was based on a benchmark study of the main Baltic ports, focusing on three areas: sustainability of infrastructures, onshore links with the port, and finally the urban environmental impact and management of tourism. The port of Riga is now aiming to increase the number of stopovers by cruise ships, while ensuring that passengers are welcomed to the city in a sustainable way.
