The circular economy reveals certain potential at ports, yet also negatively impacts some trade flows

In one in three ports, at least one activity is now circular, particularly in the field of energy. This is particularly true where ports are located in the heart of major metropolitan areas. Conversely, in the iron ore shipping sector for example, circular steel production is slowing flows and weakening the economic balance of certain terminals.
