La Rochelle (France), Promotion Saguenay (Quebec, Canada): two more examples of circular City Ports!

In the City Port territory of La Rochelle, a cooperative is aiming to promote carbon credit trading between all economic operators, making CO2 an engine for innovation and the energy transition. The territory is aiming to achieve carbon neutrality in the medium term. Across the Atlantic, unavoidable heat output from the future “GNL Québec” plant at the port could allow other activities to emerge in the territory, such as agriculture.
