:Puertos de Talcahuano is a Chilean state company, it was born in 1998 with the objective of administering, exploiting and sustainable developing Talcahuano and San Vicente ports, in harmony with historic port-city Talcahuano, located 500 kilometers south of Santiago, capital of Chile. Talcahuano Port is a multi-purpose terminal is focused on general fractional and bulk cargo. San Vicente Port is a multi-purpose terminal, one of the three most important ports of the country in container transfer, has a berthing front of 860 linear meters and 14 meters draft. San Vicente and Talcahuano ports give port services to ship owners, importers and the main export industries of regions in the south central Chile, including forest, agriculture and aquaculture industries. Their ports have a shipping offer open to the world: Asia, Europe and America.
