The Circular Economy and port territories: Conference at Paris, 2 March 2015
Nicolas Mat, an independent expert and researcher at the Ales Mining School (France), will talk about the challenges of the circular economy for port territories at a conference organised by the Union of French Ports on 2 March 2015.
Nicolas Mat is a member of the AIVP network of experts. He will help to develop a line of reflection on the circular economy which has found an echo in recent work by AIVP. The subject of industrial ecology was brought up at the opening of the 13th World Conference Cities and Ports (see the paper of Professor Suren Erkman). Marseille was also the subject of a paper at the Durban Conference (see the paper of Nicolas Mat), in the context of energy transition. The same problem is addressed in the latest work of the Sefacil Foundation, Port-City Governance, with which AIVP is associated.
