One week to go until the regional AIVP Days in Guadeloupe (26-27 March 2015)
A panel of high-level regional and international experts will be at the event, which is taking place on 26 and 27 March 2015, to talk about levers of development for port cities in the Caribbean Basin. With work to widen the Panama Canal set to be completed in a few months, these port cities are preparing for a change in the way international trade flows are organised, and taking advantage of the opportunity to generate new impetus, not just in the economy, but also in urban development and tourism. The upcoming AIVP Days are being organised in partnership with Guadeloupe Port Caraïbes, a member of AIVP, and with support from the EU’s European Regional Development Fund.
