Philippe Matthis, AIVP’s new President – Annual General Meeting 2015
AIVP’s Annual General Meeting will be held in Dublin on 28 May 2015. Members have elected the new Board of Directors. The new President is Philippe Matthis, Deputy Director General of the Port of Brussels (Belgium), who succeeds Jean-Pierre Lecomte, Honorary President for the Port of Le Havre (France).
M. Arenso Bakker (Stig Consult) will be the new secretary. Vianney de Chalus, President of CCI Le Havre, remains treasurer. 4 vice-presidents were re-appointed: Hugo Borelli, President of the Port Authority of Bahia Blanca (Argentina) ; Antoni Vives, Deputy Mayor of Barcelona (Spain) ; Gilles Bontemps, Région Pays de la Loire, (France) and Emmanuel Etoundi Oyono, Director General of the Port of Douala (Cameroon). New vice president for North America : Mario Girard, general manager, Port of Québec.

Furthermore, new AIVP directors were elected. To be noted :

for the “Port Authorities” section: Port de Cotonou (Bénin) ; Port Authority of Québec ; Autorita portuale di Livorno (Italy),
and for the “Other Professionals” section: Communauté Portuaire Bruxelloise ; Mandela Bay Development Agency (South Africa).
