How do I join?
Four steps to becoming an active member of AIVP:

- Pay the membership dues
Step 1: Consider the cost of membership
Membership dues enable AIVP to function. They are paid annually by calendar year (January to December).
They are calculated as a function of the number of inhabitants for territorial organisations and as a function of annual port traffic for port authorities. A specific sliding scale is applicable to professionals and universities depending on their type of activity.
The sliding scale is voted each year by the Annual General Meeting.

Step 4: Pay the membership dues
You can pay your dues:
By cheque in Euros, payable to “Association Internationale Villes et Ports”
By bank transfer in Euros or US Dollars
Please attach a copy of the payment order and instruct your bank to pay the transfer charges out of your account.
What you should know
By joining AIVP, you are deciding to give yourself every chance of carrying out an innovative project for the future of your port city.
AIVP is a not-for-profit organisation, governed by the French Law on associations of 1901, and administered by an international Board of Directors composed of decision-makers and professionals involved in port-city development. Its head office is in Le Havre (France), the port city where the organisation was created in 1988. By deciding to join AIVP, you agree that you accept the obligations defined in the Law and in the association’s statutes and regulations.
