The plan affects an area of 28.5 Ha and represents a global public-private investment of about 4.5 billion dirhams. Besides private commercial projects such as hotels, congress centre, mall or cinema, it also includes a new fishing port, a new mosque and a new marina, already concluded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the main innovations is the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.tangerport.com\/en\/cable-car-2\/\" target=\"_blank\">cable car<\/a>, connecting different areas with the city centre. The new line will connect, over a length of approximately 1800 metres, the Kasbah, the cruise and ferry terminal, the marinas and Faro Square. This green mobility solution adapts to the constraints of the site (topography, limits of the road service, etc.), and will enable a traffic of about 2 800 persons per hour. The main element is the monocable gondola with 10 to 12-seater cabins and continuous unidirectional operation.
