AIVP was in Boston (USA) from 28 to 31 October, where our organisation\u2019s Head of International Development Anas Laani met with various stakeholders from US port cities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anas Laani held talks with Jeanne Dasaro, Business Strategy Manager for the City of Boston Mayor’s Office of Economic Opportunity & Inclusion, to present AIVP\u2019s work and discuss the situation at the port city of Boston. He also attended the AAPA Annual Convention & Exposition, held by the American Association of Port Authorities (one of AIVP\u2019s partner organisations) since 2006.  AIVP would like to thank the AAPA for its kind invitation, and looks forward to continuing this collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At behest of our President, Mayor of Le Havre and former French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe, AIVP has for the last two years been working proactively to build its network in the United States. Proposals to create a permanent representation office in North America are currently under consideration, a move that would enable AIVP and American port city stakeholders to take full advantage of shared practices and networking possibilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
