The signing took place on the 5<sup>th<\/sup> of March during the River Port Cities Working Group meeting. Rafael Carmona, President of the Port of Seville, and Jos\u00e9 Sanchez, Director of the Agenda 2030 at AIVP, formalized the port&#8217;s commitment to the initiative.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By signing the Agenda 2030, the Port of Seville joins a global network of port cities committed to achieving the United Nations&#8217; Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Other major ports and cities that have already embraced this agenda include Montreal, Saint John, Dublin, Lisbon and Bordeaux, all working towards more sustainable, resilient, and innovative port-city relationships.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The AIVP Agenda 2030 outlines ten key commitments that encourage ports to take action on critical challenges such as climate change adaptation, biodiversity protection, energy transition, and social integration.
