The thirteen partners of the AIVP\u2019s new project, \u2018Connected River\u2019, came together to begin work in the Hanseatic city on the edge of the Elbe river.\u00a0The AIVP is supporting a range of pilot projects through this initiative, including the renovation of the city-port interface zone in Vordinborg (Denmark), efforts to reconcile the different uses of the river in Lille (France), a mobile app for the canals in Amsterdam (Netherlands), and early warning systems for marine submersion in Hamburg (Germany). Our association is responsible for coordinating the \u201cLearning and Connecting\u201d group, which as the name suggests was created as forum for sharing practical experiences.
