:The Balearic Islands Port Authority (APB) is responsible for running the public ports of Palma, Alcudia, Mahon, Ibiza and La Savina. The islands' inhabitants are supplied over all these entry ports. APB must therefore meet the needs of Balearic society in the context of sustainable development, offering infrastructure and services which will act as catalysts for their activity, while respecting and improving conditions in the territory served and the environment in which the ports are set. APB has been rewarded for its efforts by seeing the Balearic ports very highly ranked, particularly for the provision of berthing services and the yacht repair business, and in the cruise ship market.
