The Port of Paris started to propose river visits of the port of Gennevilliers. This new kind of industrial tourism offers to a general public, schools and universities a visit that last one hour thirty and that is commented by a professional guide. These visits make it possible to discover the first port of the region Ile-de-France and to know more about the multimodal transport systems and the economic impact of the inland navigation in this port area of over 400 hectares including 52 hectares of water and 12 km of quays.
