The "AudéLor - Urban planning and development agency for the Lorient" area is a non profit-making organisation with a private status and whose members are public and private bodies having competency in matters of structuring and development. The originality of AudéLor stems from the partnership composition of the bodies represented by Cap l'Orient (Urban Community of the Lorient country) the State, the consular chambers, the General Council of Morbihan, the Region Bretagne (Brittany Regional Council) the Syndicat Mixte pour le SCOT as well as qualified persons. The agency is presided by the Chairman of Lorient Agglomeration. The mission of the agency mainly concerns the development of the territory and its components of economic development and structuring through observation tools, territorial planning or economic engineering.
