Activities

Located on the shores of the Mediterranean, with an average population of 600,000, Malaga is regarded as the capital of the Costa del Sol, one of the principal tourism areas of Europe. Since the 1990’s it has developed a large number of activities to recover and rehabilitate the Historic Centre of the city, endowing it with cultural facilities and museums (Museo Picasso, Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza, Museo de Arte Contemporáneo, CAC, Pompidu-Málaga, and Russian Museum of St. Petesburg) and at the same developing the integration of the Port with the city. During the same period, Malaga has consolidated its activities related with the Andalusia Technology Park (PTA), one of the most dynamic areas in the innovation and technology industry.
