Introduction

The Port Center Network working group will meet in Le Havre (France) on March 10, 11, and 12, 2026, for a unique experience at the new Le Havre Port Center premises.

Theme: Immersion into the heart of the pioneer of French Port Centers

The 2026 edition of the Port Center working group meeting is heading to Le Havre!

As the first Port Center to be established in France, the Le Havre Port Center draws on nearly 13 years of experience, both within its own facilities and through its outreach activities beyond its walls. With a rich institutional journey, the organization inaugurated its new space in 2024, located at the heart of the Citadel terminal. By joining us, you will have the opportunity to discover a project that is inspiring in its governance, its programming, and its strong connections with the local ecosystem. In a unique opportunity, you will also be able to take part in the opening of the temporary exhibition developed as part of the European MAGPIE project. This sequence will offer a concrete illustration of how a Port Center can combine experimentation and knowledge-sharing around major port-related challenges, particularly the energy transition, while providing a setting conducive to dialogue with leading port, urban, and industrial stakeholders.
A visit to an immersive space dedicated to industrial professions will further enrich the discussion on the design of mediation and interpretation spaces. (To be confirmed)

Don’t hesitate any longer, sign up now to take part in two days of visits, presentations, and peer discussions! You will discover a port mediation hub renowned for its ability to connect multidisciplinary stakeholders. All this in the heart of France’s second largest port city, whose identity and economic activity are deeply linked to the port.
