On the 16th, 17th, and 18th of April, the AIVP held online workshops for our members to learn more about the maritime port version of the Self-Assessment tool, which was launched during the Conference in Venice. During these workshops, which took place in each of our official languages, we discussed the aim and intention of the tool as well as how to use it. This included practical advice such as using one account per port authority, the differentiation between “port authority” and “port” in the questions, and the difference between the structure and questionnaire sections. Also, the scoring system for the questions and how the AIVP can help improve or valorize the results once the self-assessment tool is completed were discussed. The sessions were very interactive and members asked many questions and provided comments on how to encourage and facilitate the usage of the tool.

Currently, the Self-assessment Tool is available only to our members. In order to find out more about the tool and to watch the recordings of the workshops, please visit the page on the AIVP site dedicated to the tool: Self-Assessment of the Agenda 2030 by AIVP – AIVP. Here you can find an introduction, a user guide, a video tutorial, the recording of the workshop, and the link to the self-assessment platform.
