Located in the heart of the Indian Ocean, the Port of Toamasina has established itself as Madagascar’s primary maritime gateway and a strategic asset for the country’s integration into international trade. Its transformation, supported by strong international cooperation, is taking shape notably through the extension of Pier C4, of which 333 meters have already been completed out of the planned 470. This modernization enhances the port’s competitiveness, supports the growth of foreign trade, and firmly establishes Toamasina as a regional maritime hub.
