The Almería Port Authority manages two ports of general interest: the Port of Almería and the Port of Carboneras. Located in Andalusia, on the Mediterranean coast in the southeast of Spain, these ports stand out for their exceptional infrastructure within the port system: 6,000 meters of docking lines, a draft of up to 30 meters, over 1.3 million square meters of surface area, and integration into the Trans-European Transport Network.
The Port of Almería serves as a key gateway between Europe and Africa, marking the Schengen international border of the European Union. Each year, it handles one million passengers. As part of its commitment to port-city integration, the Almería Port Authority has developed six hectares dedicated to public and leisure spaces.
