:The Port of Bilbao is for many reasons, one of the most important transport and logistics centres in the European Atlantic Arc. - Modern and functional facilities for all types of goods. - Docks with draughts of up to 32 metres. - First-class connections to The European motorway network and excellent railway link to our dry dock network. - A huge offer of regular maritime services linking Bilbao with more than 800 ports worldwide. - Its modern electronic platform, e-puertobilbao, supposes the quickest and most agile way to expedite all cargo management both orderly and efficiently. - It has a Border Control Point (BCP), warehouses for fresh products, the most important container terminal in the north of Spain (CSP Iberian Bilbao Terminal) which has new automatic gates and a dedicated rail terminal, and also a Cruise Maritime Station, which will situate Bilbao in the line of growth as an embarking port. - Developing new infrastructures with land available for logistics and industrial developments: a new quay with a total surface of 600,000 sq m (300,000 sq m available by 2021) and berthing line of 2 km, as well as, the dry ports of Pancorbo (Burgos) and Arasur (Álava).
