With a population of 250,000, the city of A Coruña, located in northwestern Spain, stands out for the implementation of an ambitious sustainability policy. The city is undertaking significant actions to support ocean restoration, biodiversity protection, and the development of sustainable mobility. By joining AIVP, A Coruña reaffirms its commitment to fostering constructive and innovative cooperation between the city and the port, particularly through the development project of its waterfront, Coruña Marítima. This project will enable effective integration between the port and the city by strengthening port activities, promoting new economic activities, improving urban mobility and connections with the metropolitan area, developing public facilities, and increasing green spaces and sustainability throughout the entire area.
