The Seine Estuary Chamber of Commerce & Industry works to support local businesses at every stage in their development, represent companies in vital debates on the future of the Seine Estuary and drive economic life in its territory. It currently represents more than 16,000 businesses in the industrial, commercial and service sectors, across an area that includes the Pointe de Caux (Le Havre), the Pays de Caux (Fécamp, Bolbec) and the Pays d’Auge (Lisieux, Honfleur). The Seine Estuary CCI plays an active role in initial and continuous training, and funds Normandy Business School, two training centres (CCI&Caux and AIFCC) and two specialist training centres for apprentices (ECD Negoventis and ICEP). The Seine Estuary CCI also operates Deauville Normandie airport, the Pont de Normandie and Pont de Tancarville bridges, and the Port of Fécamp. Against a background of rapid economic change, the CCI aims to make the Estuary a leading territory in the economy of the future, built on industry, energy, and the maritime and tourist economy.
