With an annual traffic of 32,5 million tonnes, Nantes Saint-Nazaire is the leading port of the French Atlantic coast. Its activity generates 24,400 jobs. Port sites are located on the estuary of the Loire between Nantes and Saint-Nazaire. They welcome each year more than 2,850 merchant shipping calls, around 70 pushed river barge convoys and 1,400 cargo trains.
