Where can I find information about the cruise industry?
The cruise industry has grown spectacularly over the last two decades, but this has raised numerous challenges for port cities and their residents. The cruise business is one of the subjects identified by the AIVP 2030 Agenda, which applies the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals to port cities. As such, AIVP closely monitors developments in the sector through its documentary monitoring. AIVP’s Guide of Good Practice also contains recommendations relating to the cruise sector. Members of AIVP should contact the General Management for more information about how to access the resources available in this area.

Where can I find AIVP’s programme of activities?
AIVP offers a very diverse programme of events and activities at which participants can discuss port city issues and projects. Some 90% of goods transported globally pass through ports, and port cities are perfect testing grounds for innovative solutions to emerging challenges facing logistics operators, citizens, the environment, climate, and so on. An international programme of worldwide conferences, as well as webinars and theme-based working groups is organised every year to address these topical issues.
