The Self-Assessment Tool of the Agenda 2030 by AIVP workshops

On the 16th, 17th, and 18th of April, the AIVP held online workshops for our members to learn more about the maritime port version of the Self-Assessment tool, which was launched during the Conference in Venice. During these workshops, which took place in each of our official languages, we discussed the aim and intention of the tool as well as how to use it. Lisbon, Portugal – 15th of April, 2024 – The International Association Cities and Ports (AIVP) is proud to announce the hosting of the World Conference Cities and Ports, which will take place from November 27th to 29th, 2024 in Lisbon, Portugal, under the presidency of Edouard PHILIPPE, Mayor of Le Havre (France). This significant event, themed "Open Piers: Steering flows between people, planet, and port cities", will bring together experts, decision-makers, and key stakeholders from around the world to explore the challenges and opportunities related to the relationship between port cities and their environment.

Interview Green Corridors – Port of Dunkirk

The first initiative involves creating a green corridor between the ports of Dunkirk, Calais (France), and Dover (UK). It’s a zero-carbon cross-Channel trade route between the strait ports, in partnership with Europe’s leading ferry operator DFDS.
