AIVP is proud to announce that the Start Conference of the “MAGPIE” (sMArt Green Ports as Integrated Efficient multimodal hubs) project was a great success!

The conference, held on the 10th of March, welcomed 17 speakers and 45 member organisations from the consortium funded by the EU’s Horizon 2020 fund, as well as several external partners.

This event took place at the “Nieuwe Luxor” theatre in Rotterdam (Netherlands). It brought together 120 people and more than 100 online participants.

The AIVP actively participated in the development of this event in partnership with the Port of Rotterdam. Within this ambitious consortium, the AIVP is responsible for communication, dissemination, and community engagement. We were therefore responsible for the choice of speakers and the creation of the program as well as the communication around the event.

Our permanent team – José Sanchez and Théo Fortin – moderated some of the parallel sessions introducing the project demonstrations to the audiences of the private sector and that of the research and innovation sector.

We are delighted to have been able to meet our partners from several European in person. We look forward to seeing our partners from the ports of Rotterdam (Netherlands), Haropa (France), Sines (Portugal) and Deltaport (Germany) and our other consortium members again at the next MAGPIE project events.
