CEMAS (Valencia): cooperating and sharing experiences toward ever more sustainable food

CEMAS, the World Sustainable Urban Food Centre in Valencia, opened in 2018. It is an initiative by the City of Valencia, which had signed a MoU with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) back in 2016. CEMAS’ main objectives are to highlight the numerous schemes aimed at promoting sustainable urban food supplies to cities around the world, raise awareness about food issues, climate change and sustainable local food systems, and spread best practices. Those priorities are in line with those identified by Commitment No. 7 of the AIVP 2030 Agenda for “Quality food for all”

We are delighted to invite you to attend - online - the launch event of the MAGIPIE project (sMArt Green Ports as Integrated Efficient multimodal hubs), on 10 March from 9 am to 5.30 pm. Members of the consortium (Ports of HAROPA, SINES, DELTA and Rotterdam) and external partners will gather in Rotterdam for the event that will kick-off the MAGPIE project. The conference will be an opportunity to explain the content of the ten work packages. AIVP, along with 17 speakers and 45 partners, look forward to seeing you at what promises to be a superb online event!
